Ahamkara
Definition: The sense of ego or 'I-maker'; identification with body, mind, and senses, leading to a perception of separateness.
Insights: Ahamkara is the source of ego-driven afflictions. By identifying with the body, mind, and senses, it creates a sense of separation from the whole. Overcoming ahamkara involves realizing our unity and interconnectedness with all beings.
