Definition: Absolute liberation; the state in which the Self is completely free and independent from all limitations and conditioning.

Insights: Kaivalya is the ultimate state of liberation—pure independence of the Self, free from all limitations, conditioning, and identification with the world. It is the highest goal of yoga, representing pure consciousness.
