Samsara

Definition: The cycle of birth, death, and rebirth; the ongoing flow of worldly existence shaped by karma and ignorance.

Insights: Samsara is the unending cycle of existence—birth, death, and rebirth—propelled by ignorance (avidya) and accumulated karma. Yoga teaches that liberation (kaivalya or moksha) is attained by realizing one’s true nature, thus transcending samsara and its limitations.
