Samsaya
Definition: Doubt; hesitation or uncertainty, often listed as an obstacle on the yogic path.
Insights: Samsaya, or doubt, is recognized by Patanjali as one of the primary obstacles (antaraya) that impede progress in yoga. Persistent doubt weakens conviction and disrupts practice. Cultivating clarity and confidence through study, self-inquiry, and guidance helps overcome samsaya.
