Definition: Samadhi in which absorption is accompanied by gross reasoning and deliberation about the object.

Insights: Savitarka Samadhi is a meditative absorption where gross reasoning and deliberation are still present. Moving through this stage enables the mind to transition to more subtle concentration and deeper realization.
